ABC Nightline profiles Randy Rainbow striking Gold with Song Parodies: WATCH

For eight years gay comedian and social media star Randy Rainbow (yep that’s really his last name!) has been making hilarious videos from his apartment in (where else?) Queens, New York.

An aspiring actor turned self-taught video writer/director/editor/producer rolled into one, Randy Rainbow went from videos of “fake” phone calls he had edited with actual celebrity conversations to his now iconic political song parodies beginning in 2016.  His first “phone call” video with Mel Gibson got 6K views on YouTube; last year’s Broadway medley “Covefe” with 615K; and “Desperate Cheeto” with1.4M and counting.

Aside from his cat and executive producer, Mushi, Randy Rainbow creates everything audiences see in his videos as this detailed in the ABC News Nightline “Social Star” prolife.

Here are just a few of theOUTfront favorite Randy Rainbow Greatest Hits!

Considering Trump’s treasonous Helsinki summit with Putin, this 2017 tuner was very apropos.

If this parody is wicked good enough to garner praise from its composer, Stephen Schwartz that’s good enough for us!

This parody may have been released four months ago, but it’s (sadly) never going to stop being topical.

Although there’s no tweeting in prison so…

And of course, what would a Randy Rainbow post be without the Greatest Hit?

Girl!
