Wear OUT Your PRIDE!

Every year more name brands and retailers are adding special lines of merchandise celebrating Gay Pride.  From head to toe and everything in between, there are now designs expressing messages of pride, love and inclusion.  What’s more, many of these brands have partnered with a wide range of LGBT causes and part of (and in some cases all) of the proceeds from purchases of these limited edition collections will go to support building a better tomorrow for our Community.

Macy’s has been leading the way for several years with their Pride+Joy department.

Target is retailer who has come under fire by conservatives and Evangelicals for their on-going support for our Community, especially transgender equality.  Standing strong, they have launched a full line of Pride designs celebrating diversity and equality which are available online at Target.com.

Levis’ is back this year with a variety of Pride fashions from hats, and vest, to bandannas featuring their 2017 theme, “Fight Stigma” 100% of proceeds from the collection will be donated to support the work of their partners Harvey Milk Foundation and Stonewall Community Foundation.

And finally, with all the parades, dances, and parties this month there’s nothing like a new pair of “cha cha heels!”

They have also put their money where their mouth is and recently add a clause to their celebrity endorsement contract. 

“Adidas acknowledges and adheres to the principles of diversity, as this is a central part of the Adidas group philosophy,” it read. “Therefore Adidas warrants that this agreement will neither be terminated nor modified in case the athlete comes out to the public as a member of the LGBT community.”
