Trump Administration has just Erased the Entire LGBT Community!
Hell hath no fury like Trump’s Administration after a humiliating lose last Friday failing on its cornerstone promise to repeal Obamacare.
Monday, Trump took out his vengeance on “Sanctuary Cities” when Attorney General Jeff Sessions threatened to withhold billions of dollars in Federal Funds for Homeland Security unless they handed over undocumented immigrants. Yesterday, the clean air and water were targeted by his wrath when he signed an executive order repealing environmental protections to resurrect the filth of the coal industry.
Today, Trump and his vehemently anti-LGBT Administration have “corrected” the error of including sexual orientation and identity in the 2020 Census data for the first time.
According to the Washington Blade,
“But apparently an initial version of this report went too far. The U.S. Census issued a notice shortly afterward indicating the report was corrected because the initial appendix “inadvertently” included LGBT categories.
“The Subjects Planned for the 2020 Census and American Community Survey report released today inadvertently listed sexual orientation and gender identity as a proposed topic in the appendix,” the statement says. “The report has been corrected.”
Meghan Maury, criminal and economic justice project director for the National LGBTQ Task Force, said in a statement the cut is the latest step from the Trump administration “to deny LGBTQ people freedom, justice, and equity.”
