• Alabama’s new anti-transgender law makes treating trans minors with gender-affirming medications a crime. But part of the new law has been put on hold by a federal judge.
• Greece has outlawed the dangerous practice of ‘conversion therapy’ for minors. The new law prohibits health professionals from attempting to change young people’s sexual orientation or gender identity.
• Professional UK soccer player Jake Daniels came out becoming the first out active soccer player in the UK in over 30 years. Over the years, we’ve seen very few athletes in team sports come out. Last year, for example, we saw Carl Nassib of the Las Vegas Raiders become the first active out player in the NFL.
