King Trump Bible, Sessions 11:35 Justice Wept

Yesterday the Senate confirmed Jeff Sessions as US Attorney General in spite of his atrocious record on civil rights and voter rights for the last four decades.

When Elizabeth Warren tried to read Coretta Scott King’s words on the Senate’s floor, she was silenced by Republicans.

In 1986 she wrote,

“Anyone who has used the power of his office as United States Attorney to intimidate and chill the free exercise of the ballot by citizens should not be elevated to our courts,“Mr. Sessions has used the awesome powers of his office in a shabby attempt to intimidate and frighten elderly black voters. For this reprehensible conduct, he should not be rewarded with a federal judgeship.”

Justice wept at the threat to American’s civil rights and liberties posed by a racist, misogynistic, homophobe like Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III of Alabama as he supports and defends the tyrannical dictates and lies of Trump and his white nationalist adviser, “President” Steve Bannon.
