Kevin Spirtas Talks Coming Out On ‘Days Of Our Lives’
In this episode of The Randy Report podcast, I’m talking to Emmy Award winner Kevin Spirtas – who recently returned to Days of Our Lives for a ground-breaking storyline as his character Dr. Craig Wesley came out as gay.
As hard core fans know, the character of Dr. Wesley has been married for many years to his loving wife Nancy, and has a grown daughter. But his new revelations surprise many and ALL kinds of drama ensues.
I think the storyline itself is important because I don’t believe a longtime character on a daytime drama has ever come out as gay in mid-life as Wesley has.
Not only does Dr. Craig Wesley come out, but along the journey so far we meet the man he’s fallen in love with, and … well, so much more.
