Gus Kenworthy chats with Ellen about competing and representing at the Olympics:: VIDEO

Even before the Winter Olympic Games begin this Friday in Pyongyang, South Korea, one of the most inspiring and visible stories is silver medalist from the 2014 Sochi Games, openly gay, freestyle skier, Gus Kenworthy.

Last July, Gus was featured in ESPN’s Body Issue; in January he made history holding the rainbow Pride flag in his Head and Shoulders commercial and now he’s sitting down with Ellen.  In addition to being animal lovers the pair are both outspoken advocates for the LGBT Community and talk about equality; homophobic Vice-President Mike Pence leading the US Olympic delegation, and more.

As usual Ellen has a few surprises in store for her handsome guest.
