In 2009, Randy Rainbow posted his first YouTube video; seven years and dozens of videos later, “BRAGGADOCIOUS!: Randy Rainbow Moderates Debate #1” went viral making his every political song parody a much anticipated sensation. Today, Randy Rainbow has scores of additional videos, tens of millions of views, two albums, a live tour, a merchandise line, and a new memoir, Playing With Myself coming out (pun!) April 19th .
CBS Sunday Morning’s Rita Braver sat down for an interview with the prolific and colorful troubadour of political satire to find out where this Rainbow began. She also got some hot tea, that we’ve all been hoping for.
