America’s Liar and Chief

America is only five days into the Donald J. Trump “Shit Show,” and not surprisingly it’s already getting deep at the White House.

Less than a week ago Trump, in an interview with website Axios said,  “I don’t like to lie, no. I don’t like to lie, no. It’s something that–it’s not something that I would like to be doing.”

Which isn’t the same as categorically saying, “I don’t lie; I’m not lying; I won’t lie if I need to; or that’s it’s even wrong to lie.”  To Trump. lying is simply the equivalent of going to the dentist to get his teeth cleaned.

Last night the “sore winner” again started spouting lies about how he should have won the popular vote too.  According to The Washington Post:

“Days after being sworn in, President Trump insisted to congressional leaders invited to a reception at the White House that he would have won the popular vote had it not been for millions of illegal votes, according to people familiar with the meeting.

Trump has repeatedly claimed, without evidence, that widespread voter fraud caused him to lose the popular vote to Hillary Clinton, even while he clinched the presidency with an electoral college victory.

Two people familiar with the meeting said Trump spent about 10 minutes at the start of the bipartisan gathering rehashing the campaign. He also told them that between 3 million and 5 million illegal votes caused him to lose the popular vote.”

By this point, anyone paying attention know’s Trump and his team are liars with their “alternate facts,” so if this seems like it’s beating a burnt cheese doodle, it’s not.  Facts matter!  Accuracy matters!  The truth matters!

America deserves and must demand all three.

UPDATE: Apparently even Press Sec. Spicer knows he’s shoveling Trump’s horseshit on this story given his reaction at today’s press briefing.
