For theOUTfront’s first Gay Pride celebration, we’ve chosen the theme, proudOUTloud.
In addition to our usual posts, we will be including daily Pride features covering a spectrum of stories reflecting our diverse and dynamic Community. Our goal is to inspire readers with the vibrant legacy, culture, and courage that is the LGBT Community.
We will also have special Pride content planned exclusive on Twitter, so if you’re not already following us, now is the time!

These are unquestionably trying times in our country with a dangerous anti-LGBT administration. This year more than ever the LGBT Community’s pride, solidarity, and strength need to send an uncompromising message of equality and justice for all.
Washington DC will be hosting “The Equality March for Unity and Pride” on Sunday, June 11th with a demonstration of resistance and outrage targeted at White House and Republican Congress.

LA Pride has already announced its parade this year is going to be a protest march as we previously reported.
New York City, the birthplace of our community has made a similar move. Organizers decided to unite all of the protest/resistance groups in one contingent at the front of parade down Fifth Avenue into Greenwich Village and passed Stonewall Inn.
And for the first time in history, the NYC Gay Pride Parade will be televised live on WABC and streamed on their website ABC7.com, Sunday, June 25th.
Our Community must remind anyone who would repeal our rights, push us back, or silence our voices that we have stood together, moved forward as one for 48 years, and we will not go back again.
We must be proudOUTloud!
