UPDATE: “UpStairs Inferno” adds Second Screening Due to Popular Demand

Last week, theOUTfront was proud to feature a post about UpStairs Inferno, the absorbing and heartbreaking documentary by filmmaker Robert L Camina recounting the “Largest Gay Mass Murder” prior to the Pulse Nightclub shooting of 2016.

We are happy to follow-up and report the initial screening at the Manhattan Film Festival has SOLD OUT and due to popular demand a second screening, has been added!

April 24th, 5pm, at Cinema Village 22 E 12th St, New York City

“Drawn from 20 interviews with survivors, historians, journalists, and witnesses, UpStairs Inferno is not just an emotional accounting of events, but an examination of the far reaching effects this tragedy has had on those involved.  Producer/Director Robert L Camina also recounts one such effect that played out as recently as 2015 in the film’s gut wrenching epilogue.”
