You. Step. It. Up!

Starting today, new readers and loyal followers of The Randy Report will peruse a new and eye catching TRR 2.0 edition.  Begone blogger.com! HRH Randy Slovacek now rules his own domain.

Broadway veteran, husband of publicist, Michael Caprio for 25 years, and avid wiener wrangler, Randy Slovacek began his “sassy American soapbox” in January of 2011.  When his husband first suggested he start a blog, Randy thought, “Sure, and every day only two people will read it – me and Michael.”

Since its launch, The Randy Report has evolved from sharing personal essays to “covering the daily news cycle in terms of politics, pop culture and entertainment news of interest to the LGBTQ community.”

Nearly nine years and 24,000+ posts later, The Randy Report averages 200,000 visits per month (that’s 6.7K every day).

Along the way, The Randy Report has been named one of the “Top 60 LGBT Blogs”

Given the thousands of LGBT+ blogs on the internet, that is no small honor and quite the shine bobble too… or is that a bangle?

Four years ago, Randy launched his companion podcast of the same name featuring a weekly news round-up which he aptly dubbed, “The ’60 Minutes’ of gay news…only shorter.”  It just may be the only time when “shorter” is a good thing when it comes to something gay.

In addition to his news round-ups, Randy has conducted podcast interviews with some of the most high profile and interesting figures across the entertainment industry today.  Among his fascinating interviews are Olivia Newton-John, Billy Porter, Tom Goss, Eli Lieb, and many more.
