If it seems like every four years we hear, “the stakes in this Presidential election could not be higher,” it’s probably true. We do hear it but this year the stakes are not higher; they’re do or die for the America we know.
Our democracy hangs in the balance.
As absurd and outrageous as it may be, the current occupant of the Oval Office can’t simply lose by enough votes to give Joe Biden and Kamala Harris the 270 electoral votes to win. It will need to be a decisive, if not monumental victory.
Our 2020 nightmare has made it a reality.
Also hanging in the balance are all of the advances in LGBTQ+ civil rights and equality which are at risk of being rolled back and any continued progress halted.
Our lives and our families are in mortal danger.

100 Million People Did not vote in 2016
1 in 5 LGBTQ+ Adults is not Registered to Vote
Youth Voter Turnout had a historic high in 2018… of only 35%
The only way to have an overwhelming victory is to have an overwhelming voter turn out and that starts with voter registration today. If you think your gay vote and the vote of your boyfriend, girlfriend, best friend, and chosen family won’t make a difference, look at the difference the LGBTQ+ vote could have made in 2016 from VoteProud.org.
VoteProud has made registering to vote faster and easier than hooking up. It takes 30 seconds to check your registration or to resister for the first time.
See for yourself at VoteProud.org
They’ve partnered with WhenWeAllVote.org who are encouraging everyone to get everyone they know to register and vote as well.

It’ll take you less time to do that than it will to listen to this New “Groove for Good” Remix of Billy Porter’s “For What It’s Worth.” From his Instagram, “Just in time for #NationalVoterRegistrationDay Grammy-winning producer #TracyYoung adds her groove-laden, fierce magic to my cover of the Stephen Stills classic.”

We are weeks away from the single most important thing we can do this decade. If we cannot mobilize every single person we know to vote, we will suffer unprecedented oppression and hatred for the next 4 years and beyond. The earth will be stripped of its resources leaving the next generation with nothing. We will all be stripped of our rights as minorities, LGBTQ people, women and pretty much everyone else whose net worth is less than $20 million. If we can each inspire 1 person to vote, we can say that we did something. Doing nothing is no longer an option. PLEASE REQUEST YOUR MAIL IN BALLOT AT WWW.VOTE.ORG TODAY! I will personally shout out every single person who DMs me a pic of their Absentee ballot application form. I long for a time when we aren’t motivated by hatred and divisiveness. We can have it but ONLY OF WE TAKE IT! Rest In Peace #ruthbaderginsburg #VOTE #MIKERUIZ #absenteeballot #mailinballot #votebymail #LOVE
