Unless we’re mistaken, Christians, Jews, and Muslims, etc., consider it a serious sin to lie i.e. as in one of the “top ten.” Even good, decent, moral, nonreligious people disapprove of lying. Still, that didn’t stop evangelical “Christian” VP Mike Pence from going ABC’s This Week with George Stephanopoulos and lying about the Obama administration LGBT protections that social conservatives want revoked.

And it prompted this question from a prominent social conservative, Bob Vander Plaats. He said, “Our base is wondering why Obama’s executive order is allowed to stand.”
What’s the answer?
Pence: I think throughout the campaign, President Trump made it clear that discrimination would have no place in our administration. I mean, he was the very first Republican nominee to mention the LGBTQ community at our Republican National Convention and was applauded for it. And I was there applauding with him.
I think the generosity of his spirit, recognizing that in the patriot’s heart, there’s no room for prejudice is part of who this president is.”
Someone hold my earrings while I slap all the lies out of this bitch!
“discrimination would have no place…” Tell that to Muslims and Latino immigrants.
“…applauding the very first Republican nominee to mention the LGBTQ community.” Who is he kidding? Everyone one knows Mike Pence legalized discrimination against LGBTs as Indiana’s governor; believes in conversion therapy; and reduced HIV/AIDS funding.
“…generosity of his spirit.” Generosity and Trump are two things that have never been in the same sentence. Even his foundation was a fraud and is currently under investigation by New York State’s Attorney General.
“But I also think that the speech that he gave this week at the National Prayer Breakfast, reiterating his commitment to repeal the Johnson Amendment, that’s put a chilling effect on free speech in religious institutions around the country. The president provided real leadership in the campaign… and he told people of faith of every background across this country that he would work to repeal it.”
First, Trump at a “prayer breakfast” is like Hitler at a Bar Mitzvah. Second, would this be the same speech where he asked religious leaders to prayer for Arnold Schwarzenegger’s TV ratings; said “the hell with it” in front of them; and also told them “don’t worry about it?” That’s exactly when you do worry about it!
It’s inconceivable how a “righteous Christian” can in good “faith” speak such blatant lies and defends a man without any conscious or compassion let alone a soul.
