Life’s too short, Take time to be Goofy

And there’s no day like today!

Life has gotten pretty fucking serious lately, not to mention scary as shit.  Every once in a while we all need to hit the “FUCKIT” button and take a mental health day all to ourselves.  So when better than National Goof Off Day?

This is a day to relax, enjoy and goof off.  Do something fun and leave the work until tomorrow.  It is often so easy to get so involved in the work and pressures in our lives. So stop, take a break, find something that you enjoy doing and do it!

TheOUTfront has put together a few suggestions for you to ponder

  1. Take the day off everything; work, school, the gym, whatever and goof off.
  2. Go somewhere unexpected or try something new for the helluvit.
  3. Have breakfast for dinner.
  4. Bake your favorite cookies
  5. Read a book
  6. Go bowling
  7. Make silly faces at small children to hear them laugh
  8. Stop what you’re doing and just DANCE! Bonus points for dancing it in public.  Double Bonus points for dancing naked.
  9. Play a board game/invite friends over for an impromptu game night.
  10. Take a nap. (especially with someone cuddly)
